HONEY DIJON in The Lab Austin

Mixmag and Smirnoff Sound Collective heads to Texas for The Lab Austin during SXSW with Honey Dijon at Collide ATX.

Miss Honey Dijon is celebrated as a profound house DJ and renowned figure in the LGBT community.

The underground artist, who has performed at international venues from Space to Berghain, got her start in Chicago, first developing her sound through a passion for soul and R&B records. Her home city's prevalent house scene, fused with a love for Detroit techno, formed a powerful cross-genre style marked with forward thinking production and total dance-floor control.

After moving to New York City, Honey Dijon took inspiration from legends like Danny Tenaglia and has become one of the most in-demand artists in both the music and fashion world.

Prior to The Lab Austin, Honey Dijon spoke on a special panel discussing equality and diversity in dance music with Mixmag and Smirnoff Sound Collective at SXSW.

The Lab is strongly powered by Void Acoustics. Subscribe to Mixmag TV.

The Smirnoff Sound Collective is all about bringing fans closer to the DJs, providing up and coming talent with a solid platform and throwing unique events where fans and artists can party together.
